BENKELMAN BEAM
 Description:
This device was developed by U.S. Bureau of Public roads and is used to measure deflections of flexible pavements.
The light weight instrument is supplied in two path for assembling on site with easy hand tools. In use one end of the beam rests at a point under investigation while the beam is pivoted at the centre.
The free and carries a dial gauge to record the deflections.
The other end is kept on a stable platform.
The beam ratio is 2:1 which magnifies even small deflections.
Supplied with a dial gauge 0.01 to 25mm.
This is a lift weight dismantle able instrument and easy carry.

CENTRIFUGE EXTRACTOR(HAND OPERATED)
 Description:
This instrument is used for determination and checking of bitumen percentage in bituminous mix, the mix is added with a solvent and dissolved bitumen is removed by centrifugal action. It consists of a removable aluminum rotor bowl, capacity 1500gms, with a cap and tightening nut.
The bowl assembly is mounted on a vertical shaft which produces from a cast housing.
This shaft and the bowl is rotated fast manually by enclosed gear in the cast body and handle.
Solvent is introduced during the test through the holes in the cap of the housing.
A drain is provided to collect dissolved bitumen coming out of the rotating bowl and getting collected in the housing.
 

CENTRIFUGAL BLOWER TEST RIG WITH VARIABLE SPEED
DESCRIPTION:
This equipment comprises of a FD Centrifugal Blower coupled to a Motor. Three interchangeable impellers with forward, backward and radial vanes are provided with the test rig. A Pitot Tube is provided in the delivery line of blower for static and dynamic pressure measurement. (Variable Speed) Power input to the DC Motor is varied by means of a Thyristor controlled DC Drive to vary the RPM of motor. A RPM Indicator with Proximity sensor indicates the RPM of Blower.
EXPERIMENTATION:
To study the effect of forward curved, back curved and radial curved impeller 
To find out the discharge, head and efficiency of the Centrifugal Blower.

To plot the graph Discharge Vs Head

AXIAL FAN TEST RIG WITH VARIABLE SPEED
DESCRIPTION :
This equipment comprises of a Axial Flow Fan coupled to a AC Motor. A Pitot Tube is provided in the delivery line of Axial fan for static, dynamic and differential pressure measurement.

 To find out the discharge, head and efficiency of the Axial Fan

WIND TUNNEL TEST RIG WITH VARIABLE SPEED
DESCRIPTION:
WIND TUNNEL has been developed to perform various experiments of aerodynamics and fluid flow. This is a open circuit Wind Tunnel provides a region of controlled air flow into which models can be fitted at downstream of working section. The Tunnel consists of bell mouth shaped entry to guide the air smoothly into settling chamber and stabilizes the air flow this follows working section for test section where various models can be tested. Test section with acrylic sheet, will be provided for visual observation. Working section is followed by diffuser section which reduces the dynamic pressure at the exit. A fan coupled with motor is used to produce desired wind velocity.
EXPERIMENTATION:
To plot speed curve for wind tunnel.
T study pressure distribution around (A) aerofoil (B) Cylinder (C) Sphere.
To measure lift and drag on aerofoil model.
To study the development of boundary layer along a plate in Tunnel.
