 Engine type-Single cylinder, four stroke, (Re -condensed Engine) spark ignition, air cooled, petrol engine, engine displacement: 350cc.

·         Dissected from actual original engine. With carburetor, spark plug, valve mechanism etc. complete with all salient parts sectioned for study of the various components and their function and to plot valve-timing diagram on the single cylinder four stroke petrol engine.

·         All systems/components  operational, thereby ensuring that their working can be demonstrated effectively.

·         Provision of necessary attachments for plotting of valve timing diagram.

 


DEMONSTRATIONAL SECTION WORKING MODEL OF TWO STROKE DIESEL ENGINE
 

·         Cut-Sectional demonstration model for class room teaching: Max height of model is approx. 350mm-400mm.

·         The whole body should be made up of Aluminium alloy.

·         Different components should be colored differently for better understanding.

·         The model should be mounted on a wooden/metal base with printed diagram.

·         Ignition should be shown by means of miniature bulb.

·         A handle should be provide on the crank for manual operation.

·       Engine type-Single cylinder, two stroke, (Re -condensed Engine)  Spark ignition, air cooled, Petrol engine, engine displacement: 100-150cc.With carburetor, spark plug etc. complete with all salient parts sectioned for study of the various components and their function and to plot port-timing- diagram on the single cylinder two-stroke petrol engine.

·         The whole system should be mounted on to a sturdy iron frame, with caster wheels for easy movement of the entire model.

·         Provision of necessary attachments for plotting of valve timing diagram.


COMPUTERIZED SINGLE CYLINDER 4 STROKE CRDI VCR DIESEL ENGINE WITH OPEN ECU & EGR WITH ELECTRIC BRAKE DYNAMOMETER

The setup shall consists of single cylinder, four stroke, CRDI VCR engine connected to eddy current dynamometer and provided with necessary instruments for combustion pressure, crank-angle, airflow, fuel flow, temperatures and load measurements. All signals are interfaced to computer through high speed data acquisition device. The panel box will consist of air box, twin fuel tank, manometer, fuel measuring unit, transmitters for air and fuel flow measurements, process indicator and piezopowering unit, Rotameter for engine cooling water flow measurement. CRDI VCR engine shall work with programmable Open ECU for Diesel injection, fuel injector, and common rail with rail pressure sensor and pressure regulating valve, crank position sensor, fuel pump and wiring harness. The  setup would be enable the study of CRDI VCR engine performance with programmable ECU at different compression ratios and with different EGR.

Engine performance study shall include brake power, indicated power, frictional power, BMEP, IMEP, brake thermal efficiency, indicated thermal efficiency, Mechanical efficiency, volumetric efficiency, specific fuel consumption, Air fuel ratio, heat balance and combustion analysis. Engine Performance Analysis software package Engine software will be provided for online performance evaluation.
