CHLOROSCOPE |
Description:
Chloroscope is an instrument used to check the residual chlorine in drinking water. In this test, a chlorinated water sample is taken in a glass tube after the required contact period. To this, a stipulated quantity of chemical reagent is added. The color formed is observed after 5 minutes. The formation of yellow color normally indicates the presence of chlorine (either combined or free) in the water. The more yellow color, the greater is the chlorine residual. The amount of residual chlorine can be ascertained by comparing the colour developed in the glass tube with the standard colors already kept in the laboratory. This test, is therefore, very simple and does not require much technique or time.

WATER QUALITY TEST KIT |
Description:
Six of the most common parameters in water quality can be monitored with this combination chemical test kit. They include: alkalinity, chloride, hardness, iron, pH, and sulfite. These parameters are important in determining the corrosive characteristics of water due to carbonates and chloride. Sulfite is also critical to prevent pitting and oxidation of metal components. A high level of sulfite results in a lowered pH, which can also promote corrosion in drinking water infrastructure. This kit is ideal not only for professionals, but also for students studying environmental science, as it offers great performance and ease of use. This kit is equipped with all the accessories and reagents to perform multiple tests for each parameter.

GLASS BOTTLE |
Description:
Glass bottles are commonly used in laboratories to contain and store liquids like water, reagents, media and solids like laboratory chemical powders. Glass bottles are preferred for storage of chemicals due to its inert nature. The glass does not react with the chemicals and compromise with the integrity.
