DESCRIPTION:
The setup consists of a Reactor, in which solid cylinder of Benzoic Acid is placed and is stirred by means of a variable speed mixer. Baffles are also provided. The Reactor is made of Stainless Steel. Peltilizer is provided to make the solid cylinder of Benzoic Acid. Constant temperature water bath arrangement is provided to conduct the experiment at various temperatures.
EXPERIMENTATION:
Dissolution of Benzoic acid in water: Kinetic studies
Dissolution of Benzoic acid with reaction in aqueous NaOH solution.

Drain.
Electricity Supply: 1 Phase, 220 V AC, 0.5 kW.
Instruments, Laboratory Glassware and Chemicals required for analysis as per the system adopted.

Control panel comprises of
RPM Indicator Digital, Non contact type.
Digital Temp. Controller 0-199.90C for hot water tank.
With Standard make on/off switch, Mains Indicator & fuse etc.

The whole unit is assembled rigidly on a base plate.
